AtomicICE™:
"single-instance" message storage server
AtomicICE server manages the “single-instance” message storage, called AtomicICE
repository, produced by the AtomicEMT processing of mail messages with attachments. The AtomicICE server
may run on the same server as AtomicEMT or on a separate server of its own. Typically,
messages from multiple mail servers are stored on one AtomicICE server. AtomicICE server,
when used in conjunction with Atomic Dispatch for EMT, is responsible for restoring the original
attachments back to the message in a user-transparent manner prior to forwarding or replying to
AtomicEMT-processed mail messages.
